ice climbing
Why get cold and wet in Scotland when you can get cold and scared in the Alps!

There's great ice guaranteed in January and February. Miles offers private guiding for all levels of ability.

His two day ice climbing courses are always popular and involve an intensive day looking at techniques such as placing ice screws and making belays. Then a day on a big route where you get a chance to stretch yourself on lead or follow something big and steep.

There are lots of great routes within easy reach of Chamonix to keep you going from a day to a lifetime. If you want mixed routes, mountain ice or frozen waterfalls, there's something here for you.

So, if you've always fancied a go, come and give it a try, or you want to fine-tune your steep-ice technique. Let's go!
